Steve has a heart for serving others and was able to put his passions into place on his most recent mission trip to Peru. He experienced an abundance of joy while working with the boys in the detention center. Seeing them smile, while giving them Christ’s hope gave him clarity that he was following a purpose God had prepared him for.
Steve volunteers at The Crossing Southeast Campus in Henderson, Nevada. When Steve is not running around setting up church, he can be found running the streets training for marathons. His most recent race was the Chicago Marathon. Steve grew up in the farmlands of Nebraska and earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry from the University of Nebraska. This accounts for his passion for Husker football, “Go Big Red!”
He hopes to return to Peru to let Christ lead him, so he is able to put faith, love and hope into the hearts of the broken.
